1 Peter 5:8-9a, 10b
“Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour. Take a firm stand against him, and be strong in your faith. After you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation”.
The suffering and trials or devastated circumstances you experience does not mean that God has forgotten us!
NKJV “8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
When you understand who you are and what your purpose is you will endeavor to walk soberly. Sober means without excuse, seriousness and not drunk. I would call it God consciousness. You become extremely vigilant as the scripture explains because you are kingdom minded. Regardless of what you experience as difficulty you want to please the Lord so much that you maintain that awareness of who you are, what is [my] your purpose and where am I going to.
As the word vigilance implies, you keep careful watch for possible danger or difficulty that way you are always ahead of the plots and scheme of the devil and you are never caught off guard. So when trials and difficult circumstances come you are prepared and will always be victorious in battle. Not only that, you are spiritually strengthened and ready to withstand the evil one because you are armed with the Word of God.
Prophetic in Warfare is decreeing and declaring the word of God to release God’s counsel for “DIVINE INTERVENTION in earthly situation. I encourage you to be watchful with a purpose!
